Ingredients
- Flour (2 cups)
- Baking soda (1 tsp)
- Baking powder (3 tsp)
- Granny Smith Apple (2)
- Cinnamon (1 tsp + some for topping)
- Brown sugar (1 cup + some for topping)
- Bananas (4 whole)
- Eggs (2 large)
Directions
- Grab 2 mixing bowls (one for dry, one for wet)
- Preheat oven to 350°
- In the dry bowl, put 2 cups of flour, 1 tsp of baking soda, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
- In the wet bowl, whisk together 4 mashed ripe bananas, 2 large beaten eggs, 1 cup of melted butter, and 1 cup of brown sugar.
- Peel and dice 2 Granny Smith apples, put a frying pan on medium and add brown sugar, butter and cinnamon. Cook until apples are fragrant, and sugar melts into a paste. Should be around 3-4 minutes.
- Gently fold ingredients of dry bowl into the wet bowl, then mix the reduced diced cinnamon apples with them
- Pour ingredients into a loaf tin, top with cinnamon/sugar mixture and put into oven at 350° for 1 hour or until cooked through
- Leave Banapple bread to rest for 10 minutes
- Enjoy!
