Fried Chicken*

Ingredients:

  • Chicken Breast (2)
  • Flour (1 1/2 cup)
  • Cornmeal (1/2 cup)
  • Eggs (3)
  • Hot sauce (2 tbsp)
  • Garlic Powder (1 tbsp)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Oregano (1 tbsp)
  • Paprika (1 tbsp)
  • Adobo (1 tbsp)

Directions:

Season and rub the chicken with Salt, pepper, paprika and adobo.

Grab 2 bowls.  Fill one with the flour and the cornmeal, season with Salt Pepper Paprika, garlic salt, and oregano.

With the second bowl, whip 3 eggs and mix with a  1/2 tbsp of hot sauce.

Dip the chicken breasts one by one in the egg mix, then the flour mix, then the egg mix, then flour mix.

Heat a pot filled 1/4 way with vegetable oil to 350 degrees.  Once at 350 degrees, CAREFULLY put the chicken breasts in the pot one by one.

Fry the chicken for 4 minutes, flipping the chicken over at the 2 minute mark.

After the 10 minutes remove the chicken breasts and place on a plate with paper towels for the oil to drain.

Serves 1-2
